Each race has their own "Garden of Eden" story and the many variants according racial memory. Adam is considered to be the "Father" of the mortal race and Eve, his mate. He carries the title "Ancient of Days" and she, "Mother of All Living."
In the stories, Julie has come to identify her future mate (whomever he might be) as "Adam," just as she comes to identify her as "Eve." Of Adam, she says, "I still have the feeling that he is out there, some where, some when.”
