Planet Ragnoruk

Class: Colony World
Home Planet: Zurth
Colony of: Dracus
Use: Drac Prison Planet
Atmosphere: Thin
Gravity: 2g

The combination of a thin atmosphere and double gravity produces a livable environment for the allied races. However, the double gravity is detrimental to races like the Drac, B'Ron, and Coceedn. Currill, Xcillee, and Zurth races can live for extended times on the planet.

The name is used as an explitive by Dracs in place of "Hell," which is common to Earth English. The reference to mythology was accidental and unintended, but it does fit. I originally picked the word up in reading a science fiction story about a group of earth survivors (of a devastating war) who were placed on a world with similar conditions and one of the captives used the mythological reference as an explitive in the same manner. Spelling, of course, is arbitrary in English.

Originally used in the original draft of Star Spawn.
