Notes

Uses his full name only for official documents. He is suspected of "informing" (a nice way of saying reading the riot act) Shauna Campbell that if she called him anything but Commander, it was to be Stan or Walker.

6’0”, 200 lbs. Walker often clasps his hands behind his back and takes a “parade rest” position he favors – with feet slightly spread. His six-foot frame is as solid as any Drac of his height. He is all military and his crew knows it. At times, he reminds them of a great bird overseeing its territory. He can gaze intently back at any crew member with his steel-gray eyes. If needed, he can command respect with his voice, which, when lowered, is full of authority. Lately, I have been leaning toward a Stephen Segal type of build and appearance.

He is best known for watching over those he commands like some great bird. When I first created this character, I liked Jeremy Irons' accent, but once I saw him in some motion pictures, he wasn't Walker. As time marched on, Steven Segal came to mind as being more characteristic of Stan's build and quiet personality.

When first assigned to the ADF Stormy Island, he was taken by Kell Hollob, the resident historian assigned to project Icaridic. He eventually falls in love with her, but protocol prevents him from developing a close relationship for many years. (I know, that sounds like a contradiction and yes, it is. Stan is so "hung up" over what is proper, that it takes a direct order for him to finally get over his earlier encounter with a very wayward Julie Stollack.

Leader of the Sky People until Marcus Shad selects James Matthews to be their head. Stan fails to provide suitable direction and is not as "practiced" at discovery as Matt. Both are good leaders, but Stan prefers the known to the unknown. Matt, with his background, is more comfortable in the unsure situation facing the returning sky people.
